The viennese whirligig

Am back at home after having had a fabbyfab time in Vienna, the most random city in the world. Ever. I honestly don't think it would be possible to chronicle all the bizarrities that we encountered..... but we made a stab at it in the scrapbook (a tome for the very mad). We also learnt many things about separable verbs, also that Knoblauch is a good word, that Schmetterling can be an ambiguous one and that escalators are just too tricksy for some of us to manage.....
I am at present listening to one of my purchases - Silbermond....who are in fact the german version of Avril Lavigne....ho hum...tis quite fun though. I also bought the soundtrack to my new obsession....Romeo und Julia- Das Musical!! It was so amazingly good that we went back to see it again.....and sing all the songs loudly.....HUZZAH!! I'm gonna try and find time to do some theatrey stuff this term. I miss it.
Also much karaoke. Especially in Freshers Week....I wouldn't want them by some freak chance getting the impression that I'm even vaguely cool or elegant! Bwahahahaha. (nono...for as we all know, I truly am an oxymoron in a box. Thanks for that David :P)

Am going away now. Must read Stendhal. Joy.

When I was in Munich I ran up a down escalator. It was a very silly thing to do.
